A Letter to Carter's

Dear Carter's,

I have a request. Your specialty is baby and children's clothing. Your customers are parents. Usually...broke parents with little or no time for exchanges or re-shopping for the same item. If you specialize in one area, please do it to the best of your ability.

Over the last 15 months I have purchased, re-purchased and ebayed about half the things I purchase from you because they shrink the first time I wash them. I have tried cold water washes. I have tried low-air drying. I have even begun stretching them out after the wash and laying them out half-dry (which by the way, results in a crunchy cotton clothing item to put on my poor son's skin).

All you readers out there - what am I doing wrong? Do you have the same problem? Carter's - any solutions?

I need some help! I have tried everything and finally, after buying 18 month pajamas from Carter's last week for my son-which fit when I got home and didn't come near to fitting him after washing them (AND NOT DRYING THEM) - I had to send out a plea for help!
